Nursing Entrance Exam Jharkhand The entrance exam for enrollment in ANM and GNM courses conducted in government nursing schools of Jharkhand will be held on 25 September. Similarly, separate entrance test for admission to B.Sc Nursing (Basic and Post Basic) will also be held on the same day. The process of online application for appearing in both the entrance examinations has started from Thursday. Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board has set the last date for filling online application as 14th September.
Must be a local resident of Jharkhand
According to the information released by the board, any kind of amendment in the online application filled for both the entrance examinations can be done till September 15. It is mandatory for the candidates to be a local resident of Jharkhand to appear in the entrance exam. Centers will be set up in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Palamu, Jamshedpur and Dumka for the entrance examination. Candidates will be able to decide the priority of the center at the time of online application.
How many marks and subjects will be the exam
Nursing entrance test will be of 150 marks in which objective type questions will be asked. 30 questions will be asked from English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects. The level of English subject will be Intermediate and the level of other subjects will be Matric. At the same time, 50-50 questions from Chemistry, Physics and Life Science will be asked at Intermediate level in B.Sc Nursing Basic. There will be 100 marks exam in Post Basic in which questions will be asked from A Grade Nurse Syllabus. In the selection of candidates for B.Sc Nursing course, preference will be given to A Grade Nurse serving in the State Government.
